Clemson Family Dentistry

 

This group of determined oral health professionals have brought me under their wing.I have learned so much through working for CFD. By Assisting and Shadowing I have learned about dental procedures and the medicine of Dentistry, and through conversations I have learned about the various other aspects of a career in Dentistry.

Shadowing 

 

Shadowing Dr. McRoberts and Dr. Gustafson has been a rewarding experience. Questions are encouraged. This creates an engaging environment for not only the intern but the patient as well. Everyone learns about the procedure at hand.

Lab Work

 

At Clemson Family Dentistry I had the privilege of working in a dental lab. The lab assistant, Jan, and I would walk through the construction of many dental appliances such as whitening trays and night guards. I also learned the anatomy and intricacies of each tooth through waxing.
