About Me

My name is William Gilmore Senn. I am a native of Greenville South Carolina, but currently I am a Junior at Clemson University within the Department of Public Health Science. I am majoring in Health Sciences with a Concentration in Preprofessional Health Studies. Attending Clemson, I came with the intention of pursuing dental school. As I have made my way through college I have encountered many experiences that have clarified and strengthened my future career aspirations. Currently I am looking to attend Dental School with the ambition of becoming an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.

Growing up in Greenville I was always involved in the community and interested in helping people. Upon conversations with my Grandpa I learned that by being a dentist I stay involved with the community and help people in a lower stress environment. He was a practicing dentist in the Charleston area and loved his career. It is my ultimate goal to find and pursue a field I am passionate about, and that is what I have found in dentistry. Throughout the site, you will be able to read about my various experiences to better understand who I am as a person as well as a professional.

I am the youngest of four which most people would say is apparent by my outgoing and personable disposition. My family is what matters the most to me after God. Growing up I played many sports including soccer, tennis, basketball, football, and swimming. I played piano for many years as well as violin for a few. After sophomore year of high school Student Government became an interest of mine. I enjoyed planning events as well as being a voice for the students I represent. This has translated into my involvement at Clemson. After graduating from dental school I plan to expand my community involvement by enrolling as an Air Force Dentist.
